My First Offical Trip to Davao

On the 17th of October 2018, I was infomed by our head that I will be having a seminar meeting, together with other accountants and Budget officer at UP Mindanao, located in Davao City.
Wow, Davao, I've never been there, I was a bit scared, coz I know I will most likely be the lone person from UP Cebu to attend. Oh well.

Stayed at UPM ILC Guest house for 2 Nights and booked at GK Business Hotel (infront of Toyota near SM Lanang) for 1 night.
UP Mindano is very very far from the city.  YOu have to target to reach Mintal.then take a tricycle from there. So the person with me wanted to commute. We ended up 3 PUJ's, 1 V hire, 2 tricycle.
Lumapas kami sa terminal sa mintal, hence 2 tricycles after we arrived in MIntal.
BTW, advice lang, When you reach Mintal, do your groceries. There's only a sari sari store near the dorm and the stocks are not really that many. I felt my period coming when I  was at the Mactan airport already. Unfortunately, there are no convenience store inside the mactan Airport.

Also did some shopping at Aldevinco
Ride the PUJ Roxas , beside the road lang in front of Ateneo)

Note on Davao Airport, There are no stores inside the waiting for boarding area. Kaya buy na ng buy before going in

 It was a short adventure and Im glad I made it. I was able to get inside the SM Lanang and located SMX Convention Center, the location of the PICPA Annual Convention  years ago. hoooo boyyy

Im glad I was able to visit Davao. The people answer your questions for directions, not much traffic and I honestly feel safe there.
