update: Finally done with my last Run 711. It was my longest run since pandemic. I did it, over 2 hours....sarrryy Sorry   I didnt take a picture. Thank you Lord for protecting me everytime I go out. 

For October, I havent registered  yet. There are 3 fun runs in  November... Metro Stores, Rose Pharmacy and PICPA run. So lemee think about it, okey

 I really dont celebrate birthdays anymore. I do buy the usual pancit coz my mother loves it. and I dont file birthday leave. Only the regular leave.

What to do on my birthday. Well I will be doing some transactions, updating at the bank, the usual, Im planning on a second booster, walk in. Im not really sure this will push through. Lord, if i really need this second booster, then you will find a way to make it happen. yun na lang.

2023 is probably the last year the the accounting office in my work place is complete , coz 1 will retire this December. Im taking advantage of taking the time off to attend seminars and what nots.

Fun Runs? none for August,  but I registered 3 this September, the  highest distance is 10k for the 7/11 run. Lord, ikaw na bahala.

So cheer up 52 year self, you are not pretty, you are overweight with a big tummy, but you are (hopefully pretty) contentedly single and you got a job. Im grateful for the blessings. All I ask Lord is to keep my mother in good health, please watch over her ,

Update: 8/13/2022 

Thank you Lord for a good day on my Birthday.  I was able to transact at 4 banks to update my bank accounts and pay my credit card, lit 3 candles and had my second booster. Except for Metrobank Fuentes which I waited for an hour, the other 3 banks was a quick stop. After Lunch at Robinsons, I had a second booster at SMCitu- phizer, bought birthday foods And had my vaccine card laminated. I arrived home at about 3 pm. Heavy rains started after  a few minutes

Last July 22, we had a Parlour Fest, which is a 1 day sports fest activity. I didnt participate much but still I got a runny nose and a cough. I didnt run for about 2 weeks,  I decided not to  join the Preparation Run. But I got a text that I need to get my race kit. So after thinking of the P650 I paid for 6K, I decided  to run.

I woke up 3:05 am, there was a little rain before that. I really am scared  going out since unlike the pre pandemic times, there were few people, PUJs & taxis on the road. I was able to ride 2 PUJs and walk the rest of the way.

Anyways, Im doing a short lecture on MOnday for the flag ceremony so good luck to me. 

Finally completed the 1 week Antibiotics

 Due to infection of my tooth, I was prescribed antibiotics. Unfortunately 3 tablets was not taken on time, ( think I drank the wrong pill, since the color of the antibiotic is similar to ponstan)

 so when I went back to the dentist, there is still a bump on my gums. After my tooth was removed, I had to take round 2 of the  7-day antibiotics. So I had to place an alarm on my cp.  6 am;  2pm and  10 pm. 

After 7 days, I finished my last pill last 2pm on June 28 2022. I can feel the difference, no more bumps and Im feeling better. Its my 2nd day of menstruation btw

I had a Tooth Extraction today

 One of the things I needed to do when It's safe enough is to visit my dentist. Last visit was 2014 and I. Need my jacket replaced. But surprise Dr. Asia is no longer with Citident and 2 of my teeth needs to be extracted. Hooboyyy . First date was June 5 but got cancelled and the next is June 21 1 pm. My BP was high so I had to wait about 20 minutes. When Finally the dentist started pulling the tooth, I cried, I can't help it, it was painful. I tried to control it but was just sobbing. Now I'm on painkillers and antibiotics. My reaction really surprised me, I really thought I could take it. Oh well, Next sked sa dentist is July 26, for another tooth extraction, the one damaged by fun run in Mall of Asia in Pasay.

Na stress pa ako sa paparating na chancellor.  anyway, I had a 5k run last Sunday. 59minutes, uggyyy terrible. There's another Preparation Run on July 24, I havent registered yet

update 6/26/2022: Im feeling better now. I decided to work the next day after the tooth extraction because there were so many things to do.  Aside from avoiding strenous  activities, dealing a stress is a no no. So when I feel weakened by the problems at work, I closed my office. My office mates understand, they even told me I shouldnt work yet. I still havent drank hot coffee, maybe on Tuesday. Im just scared something bad happens to me. I hate getting sick, there's always something urgent happening in the office, and it scares me when Im not present. Lord, please take care of my health, I need to be healthy

DeClutter and Back to Swimming

 On May 28 2022, balik Cebu City Sports center for an 1 hour swim

Its been more than 2 years since I swam so I had to search for my swimming gear.  I cant even find my sun sceen lotion.  Anyways, while searching my stuff, lo and behold , my stuff partially eaten by rats, even my never been worn slippers.

Anyways, I proceeded on Saturday for my comeback swimming, 1 ticket is only for an hour. I was given the 7-8 am slot, I arrived at 6:40 a.m. There was no clock inside the swimming area. Oh well, so I went in.  The pool for kids is not available (no roof, no water). While swimming, I checked the area, no familiar faces and I can still see the damage due to Odette. There are dividers on the pool, i hate that.

So TO ALL  local elected officials, please make improvementS and repairs for the Cebu City sports center. It really looks sad, poor and damaged.  This is the home of our future Olympians.  The bathroom for the women was rehabilitated many times before pandemic, why is there still no improvement, its in a sad state. A lot of the showers dont work.

As I went out, I saw 1 familiar face. I even exclaimed "You are still alive" hahah  The canteen was closed... uggg

After the swim and laundry, time to declutter my clothes and other stuff.  about 4 garbage bags full. I still have stuff to get rid off. I just dont have the energy for it.

Fun run on June 14 and June 19. There is a PRC run on June 12 that I still have to register. I have tooth extraction on June 4 and June 9-10 GACPA. So many things to do Lord, please watch over me and my mom.

Back to square One- buying running gear

 

I purchase this hydration belt, because my old one's zipper is stick. I tried putting oil and cleaning it, but the zipper wont budget. I purchased is at Christ Sport SM, and Im happy to say, the store has many customers buying that day. I need to check the rest of my gear if its still wearable

Things I need to do

 1. Join fun runs. So far this caught my eye. 5 k. Just registered.  I wish Hunat sugbo will come back

update: 5/19/2022, registered last May 18, no hunat sugbo but there are other runs like this one

2.  Have myself vaccinated for anti Pneumonia -  not sure if this will push thru. I have a dentist schedule on May 21.

3. Replace my tooth jacket. I really need to go back to the dentist. The last time my tooth jackets was replaced was about 10 years ago.. This needs to be done before the new chancellor takes over. I still have the card from Dr. Asia. Are you still in Citident Dr. Asia?

update:  Dr. Asia is no longer connected with Citident, bummer. I will be referred to any available dentist on Saturday at SM. Im praying that when the dentis removes the jacket, my tooth is in good condition. My last dentist visit was  2014, yeah my bad.

Update: First Visit May 21.  I was prescribed antibiotics. Two of my teeth needs to be extracted before replacing the jacket

6. also purchased additional storage at google drive, P89 per month

Haircut done after more than a year

 just wanna post it. I passed by a salon, and had a hair cut. It costs P265,  I dunno why, oh well

Now I really need to go to go the dentist, the question is when?

 Im encountering so many problems in work, endless. Once 1 issue is resolved another one comes up

1. No Chancellor, OIC is from Iloilo. Im sure  a permanent Chancellor takes over, thats another problem

2. When January started, busy with financial reports and compliance with BIR. it was so hectic, that I forgot stuff to work on. Dagdag pa ang Evaluation report, PPMP, grrrrr now Budget reports are coming in 

3. Due to Typhoon Odette, so many backlogs at work, not just me, including the release of payslips since november. I had to help , I worked on 5 months worth of payslip, kakainis grabe

4. Absences from personnel.  the WFH arrangement made people lazy. Now we are about to start 100% attendance, here comes an order of 5 days health break grrrr

5. Payroll officer will retire this December. 

6. COA. new Head. Scary

7. Email from UPSystem, I have to liquidate fund releases since 2020. God!!! when will this end!!!!

8. Globe wifi,  sometimes its okey, sometimes it just disappears

9. My mom. She's 84 years old. Complains to be always in pain. Lord please heal her aches. 

I cant afford to get sick. I feel like my brain is gonna expload any time

Submission of BIR 2316 still on Feb 28 deadline

 Whoever had this idea of submission of BIR 2316 to BIR, Sana hindi masarap Ang ulam niyo. I mean, what is your point?

Anyways, even with the super Tyhoon Odette hitting Visayas and level 3 of Cebu City up to Feb 16 2022, Deadlines haven't changed, still Feb 28

Things you need to know about BIR   

  1.  RDOs are not the same in terms of implementation. The people waiting keep comparing  RDO 081 with Mandaue RDO

2. Get ready with your folder, labeled and the documents punched and fastened                                        3. Documentary stamps and notarization.  Sa Rd 081, you can have it notarized in the new building. You can buy the docu stamps at P 30, at counter 1. They only sell  1 per company

Let's go back to BIR 2316. I'm putting down notes so I can read this in 2023

1. Scanned BIR 2316 only. Submit Cd or UsB labeled.  Individual files, format is lastname_TIN_1231YEAR. SWORN DECLARATION notarized shld be submitted with the flash drive. No docu stamp required. BIR will no longer receive hard copies 2316.

2. Page numbers at the bottom center 1 of 6, 2 of  6 , 3 of 6, etc

3.  Tax Withheld shld be equal to tax remitted                                   

4. Amount of compensation in certification is Item 19 in BiR 2316

5. Indicate resigned for those who resigned. I suggest to put those not qualified for substution, they may have other employers after they have resigned 

  6. Be early, BIR 081 only issues 100 numbers.                                    

7. Bring shawl, it's cold inside. Also bring snacks, water, charger. It's gonna be a long wait. On Feb 23, I arrived  6:45 am , I was on the 8th row, Number 30 and was called almost 12 noon.

8. Have lots of patience, lots and lots

On my first attempt at Feb 22, I arrived 7:10 am and I was in the 4th row. When I went inside, I didnt go to the priority number counter, so I wasted about  3 minutes.  I got number 21. I brought my laptop just in case there are problems with my flash drive and an extra flash drive (just in case). YOu never know what they see in the flash drive.

I was really hoping BIR would totally scratch out this submission of BIR 2313. If not, let it be sent online. PLease, please please.

Testing Mobile wifi and GOMO

 

Im not promoting GOMO, I just want say about my experience with it. Now GOMO is part  of Globe Telecom  so dont expect to get  faster internet. What attracted me was the NO expiry. But you need to activate the sim, coz the sim itself has an expiry date.

Now I purchased  a 4g mobile wifi (I cant find a cheap 5g  mobile wifi), the problem  is that, Unlike the Smart Rocket Sim, the Gomo sim needs to be activated.  So, my mobile wifi doesnt  work, I downloaded  the Gomo App, but you need the Numbers sent thru SMS.  I cant access the messages of the sim  because I can only open the messages if I use the mobile wifi which GOMO cannot provide. I tried this several times, but failed.

So my solution, Insert first the Gomo Sim in a mobile phone, then download the app, You can use any wifi service if you insert in a cell phone.   Then enter the  6 digit numbers sent via SMA , fill up the registration form. An email is sent so you need to verify it by clicking the button in the mail. Ugghhhh the hassle with Gomo, and its not even fast. It took me hours to figure things out

 To be honest, I have been purchasing DITO (2), loaded them P1000 each, purchased pocket wifi, 1 arrived. REvived  my extra globe, smart, TNT and TM sims. and a purchased a Smart Rocket Sim...

Alden's concert was last Jan 30 , 2022, and I used my DITO and pocket wifi for this. Sad to say, so many lags..I probably watched about 60percent of the show, this is a 2 hours and 3 minutes. I would get into different positions just to catch  a signal.

I was planning to buy a more expensive pocket wifi. But when I arrived home,  Globe at Home is working, finally.

Power out- Dec 16 4 pm,  Power restored Jan 16 2022 3 weeks after TWBU ended

Wifi came back Feb 4 2022, 5  days  after Alden's concert. Oh well,  im still  looking into silver linings

Update: on Feb 6 , 2 days after, My GLOBE at home is dead again . I'm using a newly purchased router with DITO Sim. See pic below. I also purchased mini UPS for this.

- getting inside the room without turning power

-not buying meat. natakot baka mag brownout again

- getting used to working at nights. I couldnt find a comfortable position while working. I couldnt find my mojo. I also easily get tired.

Lord, I leave it up to you. Keep my mom healthy and safe. Me also, Im trying to survive this year end reports and BIR season. Give me some lucky happenings please

To boost or not to Boost

Ive read an article that 2 Sinovacs plus Pfizer at Booster aint effective against Omicron. So bummer. who wants to suffer the side effects, hindi pala effective. Anyway, a lot of peeps in my office got sick and are advised to stay home. So no booster for me yet, I will get fever, and its not the right time to get sick.

*Dec 3,  Atty Corro's term as chancellor ended. NOw UP Cebu has no Chancellor.   An OIC is assigned but he resides in Iloilo. Still waiting (1/16/2022)

* #The World Between Us had a Season break due to a lockdown in NCR after 40 episodes. Season 2 started Nov 29 up to Jan 7  with  35 Episodes

* Dec 16 is my Mom's 84th birthday. It was also the day Typhoon Odette, the strongest since Typhoon Ruping hit Cebu City. We had no electricity for a month.  I had to view  episodes of TWBU in other Sites. No  Christmas, NO New Year. We were lucky we still had water. There were long lines in Banks, Refilling stations, money transfer , gasoline stations. You cant find bottled water and even coke in any store. The stores also ran out of  rechargeable lights. Because of no electricity, I had to bring my flashlights and rechargeable to work. Thank God I invested in solar panels. We were not in the dark.

* Omicron  plus Delta Surge in NCR then in Cebu City, over 500 new cases in a day. And Barangay Guadalupe is the highest, na naman

* January 16 2022, is the feast of  Sto. Nino. I decided to go to work, since Im not sure if  the power comes back. When I got home at  4pm, power is back

* Lazada update. I ordered a wireless phone for landline. I received a keychain.Whats worse, J & T Express wont accept packages for return .  So I had to pay via LBC to return the keychain. P1700 refund, just waiting for a P20 peso keychain  to be returned. Bummer
