My work From Home in my Bedroom

Yup, this is my office at home. The equipment was charged to my loans  I also have 2 new cellphones and several headsets and supplies.  

PCDesktop I5 purchased from Thinking Tools Inc.  P40,500.00 

 HP Inkjet and Epson LQ 310 printers. Other gadgets are from various stores, Shopee and Lazada

My room used to be the room my two sisters, which is a big room with 2 single beds. So I used the other bed to put my equipment and Used a small stool to sit.  I really would love to get rid of the bed, but then I would have to buy furniture for my equipment, meaning more money to burn. So Im used to this type of position while working

Its November 30, I tried and failed

 Good news: 7/11 run still pushes through, via virtual run

BAD News: I am in Bad shape. I cant run the 16k huhu

So Last week, I decided to start jogging today, on a Monday, Nov 30, a holiday.The moment I woke up, I just feel tried, lethargic and too lazy to even dress up.

I think so many excuses.

So , Day 1 failed.

My punishment. I need to go out today and do chores. Probably get my stuff from the office and other things to do. Gotta work out some sweat today.

Work at Home Set up

 My laptop's (Dell) battery died way back July so I had to borrow the Dell Desktop computer at the office

and set it up in my bedroom. My room's space is small, this used to be the room of my 2 elder sisters so there are 2 single beds. The extra bed was used when as a guest bed. Since I cant get rid the second bed, its now the place of my Work at Home Office

1. Borrowed Dell Desktop from my office. UPS is mine

2. HP Printer

3. Installed Globe at Home

4. Purchased a second cp for Zoom meetings. I prefer cp over desktop. I did purchase a webcam to test zooming on pc.  Im thinking of buying a headset. Maybe

5. Purchased on 11/25/2020, Epson LQ 310 printer

6. Lots of inks, ribbons, and supplies. I hate using supplies from office.

its a lot of mess I tell. I purchased 3 reading glasses, about 5 magnifying glass,celphone holders, earphones.. so  much more

Whats weird, since 2 of my co employees have not reported for work, for personnel reasons, I now have to report to work 5 times a day. My WFH is during at nights, weekends an HOlidays

2020 A year of Disasters, Pandemics, Super Typhoons, JOblessPeople ,and New Experiences

 2020 Its also the year I stopped running. Coz first,  We were not allowed to go out unless its essential.Second, Im having a hard time jogging with a mask and a gigantic quarantine pass

My last run was  SM City Run last Feb. I may have to start-back to Square 1, again

I cant believe I havent posted for so long. You would think I have enough time for posting my blog

Walking to and from Work. I walked a lot, but I still got fat. I bought groceries at Emall and walked home. hooboyyy

My first Samsung Phone. 

I brought home the office PC. But I had to purchase my own printer

ONe of my co workers had breast cancer. I was really down when I heard the news.

I really need to go to the dentist and also parlor. Ohhh what to do.

2020 was hell. Natural disasters and killer virus, ang tibay ni Covid grrrr

Will 2021 be better. Im not sure. here's hoping

Cebu on ECQ for June 16-July 15, Natatanging ECQ

First of all, I would like to ask for lots and lots of prayers for Cebu, its frontliners,  Hospitals and medical staff. We really need help right now. I am  praying to God that the ECQ will be lifted, that there will be enough doctors, nurses and hospital beds, and the virus be contained,

My situation right now
1. I live in a barangay which is currently  No.  1 hotspot of active cases. No. 3 is the location where I work.
2. My service in going to work got cancelled. Bigla na lang akong na ghosting,  the driver didnt answer my last text. Nag message siya na na di na papasukin ang campus, pero I know there are employees who have reported

3. Im back to walking to work. I bring my own lunch so I can be alone. I still have lots of work and people are sending me lots of work. Im frustrated at WFH employees. Most of the time when I call them, they dont answer.

4. Since 2nd quarter just ended, that means reports, more work, more singil to pay.
5. Im more exhausted now, compared when the ECQ started. I pray to God that Idont get sick, That I wont get depressed. That my brain is still active and intact. I just cant help but feel discouraged that when ECQ started, CEbu City just had a handful of positives, now after 3 months of quarantine, its way past 5000. I mean are you really sure what we are doing is working?

COVID 19 and The New Normal

I live with my 82 year old mother and I can't afford to get the virus.
This virus kinda reminds me of small pox, it has a period. We try to shortcut it thru medicines and other old school medicinal practices, but at times the veeruz can be resilient. You isolate yourself so you cannot infect others, but at times you get so bored you need to get out. When I had mumps, I still reported to work, and some got infected . Soweee
COVID 19 is resilient and we are still looking for a super pill. In the meantime, enjoy the new normal and be always vigilant.

Real Property TAxes 2020

Cebu City Hall has moved some of its services in SM City Cebu . Here's what  I know
1. REnewal of Business TAx
2. Payment of Real Property Tax

Now, this is my first time so Im writing this down so I can remember.
First: SM's door  (1 door only) will open at 9:00 am to  minimum number of people. ONce they ran out of green IDS. 10pm slot ka na

I arrived at 8:00 am, so I had to make pila despite the pain in my legs, after running the 21k. No priority numbers given at the entrance. The moment you get in, you just rush to the third floor.

the payment of Real Property Taxes is just across Jolibee at the third floor
1. Get a number, then prsent your prior year receipt.  GEt number  for payment
2. Pay. I paid P1111.82 (including 750 garbage tax)

That was fast. So I dropped by second floor (old VECO office) to get my cedula.

Thats it. You just need patience.  Next year ulit
lastly: Deadline for renewal of MAyors permit is Jan 31  so dont go there on this date.

I wasnt planning to  run for CCM 2020, but I heard the route would go back to SRP, so I  kinda miss that route esp the tunnel which is airless and hot. So one more run before I retire from 21k. I think my body can take it, its just a stress. Everytime I join long distances, it really stresses me out. weather, menstruation, etc

It was a cool morning, perfect for  long runs. Passing by STo. Nino church was a challenge with may churchgoers crossing the streets. ANyway, If I am a tourist, it would be a great experience seeing the sights.
