2018 has been a full year for Fun Runs

I would like to thank all the organizers for staging fun runs in Cebu. There has been a decline of runners, since most elite runners have evolved to triathlons. We lack newbie runners .  Sana 2019 will be a fuller year. There are still runs scheduled in December

Sad to say, I 've gained weight, I've been drinking coke and C2 often,hooboy, I really need to stop drinking sugary drinks. Mantra ko na eto

I recommend fun runs to everyone. Its not really running, more like slow jog. Lets keep the running community alive. Say Yes to healthy living. Support all the fun runs organized.

We need more newbies. Its much more fun than Zumba hhehe di naman sila competition.

It was 2014 where I last attended the PICPA ANC in Cebu . Here I am, 4 years later, even with Bagyo Samuel and mentruation, it wont stop me.
Let  start this with a great big Thank you Bacolod! Congrats PICPA
A week before the flight,  it was already reported by PAG-ASA of a typhoon code name Samuel that will hit Cebu and the Visayas. Of course I was scared, but unless the flight is cancelled,  I will still participate

Buses were provided from Silay airport, to New Government Center, IkThus, SMX & L Fisher. It was also raining in Bacolod when I arrived

First step, get your ID and Meal ticket at New Government Center. Still raining

See, ang bait ko, talagang tinapos ko

I was really drained since Day  1 to Day 4. I had my menstration, multiple venues, had a super headack the first night.  On the night of  Nov 22 2018, Technical session 1 started about 7pm with 3 speakers. I fell  asleep on the bitcoin topic since I was taking medicine for my headache. 

I purchased a pair of shoes for alternate wearing, but my feet hurt a bit  so I had to buy socks again.  Btw, SMX is inside the mall at the North wing. Other participants were assigned in LFisher and Ikthus. Although there were cancellations due to the bad weather, there were still so many who were present. Although there were problems,  complaints, etc. I still say it was successful. Also I finally saw Allan K in person and he was really funny.

PS: PICPA ANC 2019 will be in Laoag Ilocos Norte

By way the  REgistration is Free, you get a shirt for 300 registrants. I didnt have time to get out of work just to register. I tried calling last friday, but nobody answered the landline and mobile. I thought the run was postponed. But when they posted that the run starts 5:30 am, I decided to be a bandit runner. It was raining a bit when it started. I arrived at Capitol at 5:21 am, I was just jogging from home, stopping if there is a rainpour. Well I heard the countdown, so I just waited for the runners to come out , and ran with them. From Capitol to near Sudlon, then back. Easy peasy. I just stopped at McDonalds for breakfast.

1st PNPA Lakan Run

10k costs P600 and I was a bit disappointed 
1. No snacks, only bottled water was given
2. Lack of marshalls manning the street. Even at 4:15 am, there were already many vehicles on the road
3. No signages to guide us. It was dark and I'm not familiar with MJ cuenco. Thankfully I didn't get lost

I wasn't really into this run, pero walang choice. Its the only run this November
