2 years ago, I joined 10k for the Philhealth Run. It was obvious they werent prepared for the run, so many things to complain about. Now, things are different. Gatorade, banana and chocalate stations. There was a pakwan station pero di naabutan.  Sumptious breakfast. Lots of freebies. Galing.  One thing I didnt like is my pic. I really look fat. Last time I'm going to wear that green shirt on a fun run. GRRR. My TIME is  still is still consistent, still slow..ohhhwellll

My Unexpected Side Trip to Baguio City

For such a long time, I've always wanted to go to Baguio City but not alone. There were opportunities but not the right timing. But one day, after being pissed of being sent to UP Diliman for 8 days including weekend, I got a suprise of my life, Instead of working at an office in UP Dil on saturday, I get to go to Baguio City.

We planned the trip at noon Friday, Jan 30 2015, Zeny was hesitant, but I decided to make my weekend more productive by going on this trip. I went out during the break to withdraw cash, pay for the Nismed hostel and made some arrangements. After the seminar, I rushed back and did some rush packing. We had difficulty getting a taxi but we were able to take a bus at Cubao at 7:30 pm. (P450)

We arrived at UPB Dorm at 1:30 am. It was so freezingly cold. We just changed clothes and tried to sleep. Early in the morning, Zeny, Mel and I went to UPB to do some picture taking. The accounting staff was there and accompanied us. Cecille arrived and treated us with breakfast and sightseeing. Her driver was her hubby and her son Dylan was with us.
Day 1
Lapressa ( too many cars there, we cant get near so we just took some pics)
The Manor Hotel
Strawberry Farm at Trinidad (bought handpicked strawberries and souvenirs)
Birthday Party at Julies House
Dinner at Cecille's House

Day 2
Went to church at 6:00 a.m.
Passed by Session Road and watched a bit of Panabenga opening
Breakfast at SM Baguio
Bougth souvenirs at fron of SM Baguio City
Burnham Park (boat riding, wore igorot clothes, ate lunch, had a headache)
Mines View ( I sat on a white horse for a photo ops)
PMA (with Cecille, hubby and Megan)
back to Cecilles house for another Birthday and tasted pinikpikan
slept a bit then tambay at Victory Liner. We were there past 11:00 p.m. But was able to get a ride at 1:30 a.m.
I slept a bit at the bus and did some wifi to upload photos. I'm still tired and sleepy.

Little boboo: forgot to leave the key. I was able to return it when we got our stuff at about 10:00 pm. I think Cecille was a bit pissed. Sorry. I only brought 1 blouse. Also, no time to go to night market...grrrr . Too exhausted

Overall, it was great trip.  Thanks to Cecille and Julie  and their family for the invite. Thanks to UPB accounting pips for the assistance,  Most of all, Thank YOU LORD! Bucketlist checked!
