St. Ignatius Run 2014

Venue: SRP San Pedro Calungsod Templete
July 13, 2014 4:30
21k 3:25

I just finished doing laundry. Its 11:30 a.m. and I'm tired and sleepy so I hope I can make this short. A year ago I promised myself not to join runs if the start/finish line is in SRP because I dont have my own vehicle. Since St. Ignatius run promised to provide kaoshiung bus service, I decided to break this promise and enter in 21k. Overall, it was an okey run,  SRP was hot as expected, my first time go that far in Talisay. I was the last 5 or 6 runner, and the program was over when I arrived. At least they didnt dismantle the timer.
Some stuff I noticed.
No food or  bananas stations. I thought every water station is sponsored  from the students. They all look the same to me,  although some of the water was cold.   If they were offering gatorade in the water stations, I didnt see it.
There was a bit of rainshower in the beginning, but it was scorching hot by 7:OO am. After the turning point, I noticed fewer water stations, about 3. Good thing I brought my water bottle.
No snacks offered. They say Virginia hot dogs were offering free hotdogs. But I paid P15 for mine.
There were about 5-6  people behind me, 1 I overtook near the finish line because he was just walking. When I claimed my finishers shirt and medal, they said I was It was the last one. May cutoff daw...BOOO! I didnt read a cutoff hour. The poster stated all 21k finishers will received medal and shirt. Sorry for the runner I overtook near the finish line. I didnt know.
I only took  3-4 pics because I was in a hurry to catch the kaoshiong bus. Now, the distance between the bus and the templete is about 500-600 meters. I was almost halfway there when I saw the 2 buses leaving. GRRRRRR! Good thing a sympathetic runner whom I met in previous runs offered me a ride. Thanks kind Sir. Sorry I didnt ask for your name. Also thanks to the lady in Virginia Hotdogs booth for taking my pic.

Cant make up my Mind

I'm so annoyed with myself because I cannot make up my mind whether I should run for the bohol international marathon and or Talisay Marathon

Bohol International Marathon on August 24, 2014 at Panglao Bohol

I've spent hours googling for accomodations, maps and other bohol stuff. I already prepared money for this. But for some reason, I did not fill up the form and go to Metrobank to pay for the registration fee. I didnt even reserve for the accomodation. My excuse, I'm scared of travelling alone esp. to a place I've never been to. Its been raining this past week and it scared me more. I'm also a bit depressed at my workplace. Maybe I'm waiting for a sign. I'm reading blogs of  other runners experiences in Bohol to motivate me to go there. If Manilenos are willing to go to Bohol, then I can do it also. Lord give me a sign please.

Talisay City Marathon on August 17. 2014  I dont know if  I should stay at a hotel or not for this run. A very minor problem but for some reason, I hesitate to go back to Runnr Ayala  to register. I'm also afraid I would I get injured and its only 1 week before Bohol International Marathon.

St. Ignatius Run at SRP on July 13, 2014. I have the form  already filled up and the payment ready , but I didnt go to chika an to register. Sayang ang P50 discount. The reason: I have a dentists appointment tomorrow to have my jackets removed  for a replacement. I'm seriously afraid of what she will find after removing the jacket. I will try to register after  my appointment. And I also hope & pray its not gonna rain on July 13.
