Running Mad 3

I was hesitant to join this run at first  because it was organized by a person running for councillor for this May election. But  I cant resist the cheap registration fee, its only P150.00 for all runners.

As expected, some politicians were there but I just ignored them. I do appreciate their plans for the running community if ahemmm they get elected.

Anyways, bisan P150 lang (P50 without singlet) the run was well organized.  They have  water stations every 2K, exactly 2K really..I didnt even have to use my ice water baon. That was great. When I arrived at the finish line, the snacks are given right away, WOW no long lines..

 I think the Philhealth people should learn from mary ann and co. for the next philhealth run.

Thanks to mary ann! I'm still not sure who to vote yet, But i sure will Join Running MAD 4.  I had a fun time.  lahug/salinas/talamban route is always challenging for me.

next Run: Takbo labas sa Krimen 16K.  Lots of prayers for me hehe

SM to SM run 3

Instead of telling a story of what happened in the run, I'll just post a pic from SM facebook. I'm the one wearing the pink baseball cap at the back  near the start/finish stand, waiting for the couple in front of me to move on.
this is for 12K 1:52, standing is 238/306. This is the day  I received my first finishers medal. I cant believe there are only 306 finishers. there were so many at the starting line.  Am I ready for 21k, ahhhhhh not sure maybe next year

p.s.
I also ran 10k for Philhealth run last Feb 17,2013. They gave out finishers certificate and a donut. I was in a rush to go home because I have a flight to manila at 12:40. Anyways, there are so many complaints about the run, but I will still participate just for the finishers medal. I do hope the philhealth staff has learned their lessons.
